UCGHI WHGE COE Global Seed Grant Program announces three new awardees from Colombia, Mexico, Kyrgyzstan
Funds were secured for a second phase of the WHGE COE Global Seed Grant Program. On January 16th, 2020, WHGE COE placed a second request for proposals (RFP), with particular interest in proposals from Asia, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Nineteen proposals were submitted from universities in the following countries: Colombia, Ethiopia, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Mexico, Bangladesh, Kyrgyzstan, India, South Africa, Cambodia, India, Ghana, Tanzania, and Nepal. The peer review process consisted of COE member volunteers comprised of staff, students, community stakeholders, faculty, and advisory council members. After two rounds of peer review calls, the final three grants were selected as awardees:
