Mark your calendars! The 2018 University of California Global Health Day will take place on Sunday, April 22 at UC San Diego.
UC Global Health Day is the UC Global Health Institute’s (UCGHI) flagship event, featuring plenary sessions, posters and concurrent breakout sessions covering a wide range of global health topics. From sustainability to advocacy to global mental health and engineering, UC Global Health Day showcases the outstanding research, training and outreach taking place across the 10-campus University of California system.
This is a great opportunity for UC students, fellows, faculty, staff and visiting scholars to gather and share their work. This year, renowned global mental health expert, Vikram Patel will host the event’s plenary session.

UCGHI is currently accepting submissions of abstracts for poster presentation and breakout sessions for UC Global Health Day 2018.Topics may range from basic to translational sciences, technology to social entrepreneurship, women’s health to global health diplomacy or policy. We are seeking a broad range of topics to feature the rich diversity of work being done in global health across different disciplines.The deadline for submission is December 8, 2017.
